Projects abroad
ADRA's foreign projects can be divided into two groups:
- quick, short-term help to secure main life necessities for people hit by disasters (food, beverages, shelter etc.)
- an immediate response to a certain adverse situation (natural disasters, social crises, wars etc.)
- we often organize long-term follow-up projects of developmental nature
- e.g. Sro Lanka, Libanon, India, USA
- long-term projects aiming at sustainable development in the respective area
- among other forms of help, we enhance education and enterprise opportunities and help establish facilities of social and health care
- e.g. Kenya, India, Thailand, Cambodia, Serbia, Mongolia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vietnam
